Project Description: This project is focused on creating a mobile platform where mentors and mentees can connect in a more structured and engaging way. The Cost of Living & Student Survival Guide
The Cost of Living & Student Survival Guide is a project developed within the Chelon ID Economics Department through the collaboration of a mentor and a mentee.
The purpose of this project is to explore how rising living costs affect students and young professionals, and to provide practical tools that can help them better manage their finances.
Throughout the project, the mentor supports the mentee in conducting research, analyzing data, and transforming findings into useful resources for the community.
The project includes:
- Research on student expenses such as rent, food, transportation, tuition, and social life
- Surveys and interviews with students
- Analysis of inflation and changing spending habits
- Practical recommendations for budgeting and saving money
- A student budget template and financial survival guide
This project allows the mentee to gain real experience in economics, research, communication, and project management while contributing to a topic that affects many young people.
Current Status
Research and data collection are currently in progress.
Project Goal
To create a practical and accessible guide that helps students understand the cost of living and make better financial decisions.

This project is not only about economics. It is about helping students better understand their reality and giving them practical tools to manage it.
The mentor brings experience and guidance. The mentee brings energy, curiosity, and action. Together, they create something useful, credible, and impactful.
